The sign ups for the 2022-2023 tournament are complete! There's a total of 32 teams this year (a new record).
- Each team will get 6 games, randomly selected against other teams in the first round.
- At the end, there will be a second round that will be elimination.
- Your team will be ranked 1-32 and a new schedule and series of match ups will be set
- All games in the first round will be best 2/3 sets
Dodgeball Rules
- If you cross the center line you are OUT!
- If you leave the court in an effort to dodge a ball then you are OUT!
- If you are hit from shoulders and below with the ball on a direct hit, or indirect deflection (from another player or ball, you are OUT!)
- If you hit a player in the head on a direct throw the person is SAFE. The person who threw the ball is OUT!
- If the person attempts to dodge the ball but in doing so brings their head below shoulder height and is struck with the ball in the head; they are OUT!
- If a ball hits you, bounces off and before the ball hits the ground, it is caught by another player on your team; you are SAFE. The person who threw the ball is OUT!
- If you are holding a ball and deflect it by using the ball, you are SAFE. The ball is still live. If it hits another person or another part of your body, before it hits the ground, they are OUT. If the ball is caught by another person on your team, the person who threw the ball is OUT!
- If the ball hits the wall, it is dead.
- “Double kills” are allowed.
- You may only hold ONE ball at a time, the only exception is: if a ball is thrown to you and you catch the incoming ball while holding the first ball in your hands. You are SAFE. The person who threw the ball is OUT. You must then drop the second ball right away.
- “Headshots” with a malicious intent or intent to injure are strictly forbidden. If done, your team will forfeit, you will be removed from the tournament and earn a one way trip to the office.
